You will need our standard fitting if you want to mount your new weathervane on the ridge of an Australian Colourbond steel roof be it your home, shed or stable. The foldable bracket can easily be adapted and shaped to fit the top of a large post if you would like to mount the weathervane on a free-standing column in your garden. If you would prefer to attach your weathervane to the gable end of a building then you will need to choose that option. The gable fitting is also ideally suited to attach your weathervane to any flat vertical surface needing only 75mm of surface width. Our eaves fitting bracket is designed to attach to the fascia board and clear all standard gutters. It is by necessity, deeper than the other fitting and allows for adjustment vertically and horizontally before tightening. Both the gable and eaves fitting systems incorporate 500mm stems. The ridge fitting bracket utilises a 300mm stem.
