Damaged on Arrival ( Transit )

The item is deemed “damaged on arrival” when the packaging is damaged and the item itself has major issues

We should be informed by contacting us within 3 days from the date of receipt of an item (insurance requirement). After this period, the transit insurance will not accept claims.

Pictures of the damage shall be sent to us and a brief description of the damage to the item.

Please re-pack the item using its original packaging if possible.

We will process your claim and update you accordingly within 3-5 business days

We will send you a return shipping label

We will ship another new item to you if its still in stock or give you the option for alternative or even a refund if the returned item is out of stock

Warranty Returns

In Australia: Goods provided by Oz Metal Art in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. ‘Acceptable quality’ and ‘major failure’ have the same meaning as defined in the Australian Consumer Law.

This warranty only applies to new products. Oz Metal Art guarantees that all our weathervanes and metal art products are free from defects. Any apparent fault will be rectified free of charge by Oz Metal Art within a period of 12 months from date of purchase, provided that:

The customer produces the original invoice or other purchase documents as proof of purchase date.

All costs of installation, cartage, freight and insurance are met by the claimant.

The product has been installed correctly and is used in accordance with the Oz Metal Art’s user instructions issued with the product.

Warranty Exclusions

Oz Metal Art is liable only for claims due to faulty or defective parts or workmanship.
